I’m a straight man and I’m applying for flight attendant job and i just see there are a lot of gay guys on that job.
If any straight men reading, i want to see your comments.

There is no percentage… People don’t usually go around asking people at their jobs if their gay or not.
But I would guess a majority of them are gay or feminine.
But then again it’s good if you get that job, imagine the women, if there is all gay guys they don’t get none, you, a straight guy would have so much fun.
lol.
I haven’t seen precise numbers, but homosexuals definitely seem to be very disproportionately overrepresented among male flight attendants. Heterosexual male flight attendants seem to be the exception to the rule, but they definitely exist as well. For other members of cabin and flight crews (female FAs and all pilots), heterosexuality is the norm, as it is in the general population.
As has been pointed out already, the opportunity to work with mostly female coworkers in an environment nearly devoid of heterosexual males could be considered as a job perk by a male, heterosexual employee.
I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that what you are getting at is this;
“As a straight man, if I take a job as a F.A., will people, (especially male passengers) assume I’m gay?”
Here’s MY answer: Straight or gay, people will judge you on how you act. Unfortunately, stereotypes exist in people’s mind, and they will judge you based on those stereotypes. If you are “straight as an arrow”, but come to work and somehow live up to people’s stereotypes by acting a certain way….well.
Here’s my final thought; I fly frequently, and I can tell you that some of my favorite flight crew are some gentlemen that I always see on planes flown by a certain airline on my usual routes…those guys are all business, I’m pretty sure they are heterosexual, and at the end of the day I don’t give a s#$% as long as they get me out alive in an emergency!!
Man or woman, straight or gay….”Thank you to all you flight attendants out there putting up with the passengers that think you are there to serve coffee and soda on every dang 65 minute flight”….do people drink soda and eat peanuts every minute they are at home? Geeez…FAA should pass a law that says “NOBODY gets out of their stinking seats on flights less than 90 minutes….NOBODY”
…..sorry, that’s another whole different subject.
If I were you, and especially if I were single, I would be doing everything in the world to get that job!!!:)
Good luck!!
Among the male stewards the percentage is around 95%.
Just remember, if you drop your wallet in the isle, kick it all the way up front before you bend over to pick it up!
